Meredith Wendell S/S 2011

Obsessing over Meredith Wendell's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, and the photography to boot. Wendell is New York based resort-inspired accessories brand that combines unique color and sporty American style. Founded in 2008 by designers Meredith and Wendell German, the company’s designs are handcrafted in Florence, Italy, using Italian leathers and hardware.

I also love that two of her four stockists in New York are two of my favorite shops- Castor & Pollux, and Bird. See more of her line here.

Baker Tripod Side Tables

Loving these iron tripod tables with gold leaf by Baker. I've been searching for new side tables for the ends of my couch, and I really like the vintage mirror tops. Shop Kohl Interiors here.

Pink Couches

Lately when I've been looking through design mags or blogs, I've found myself more and more attracted to a very specific thing: pink couches. I don't think I'd actually put one in my house, but I really love looking at them in other people's homes! And, of course, they work best in white rooms. Check out the inspiration below.

Mast Brothers Chocolate

In a New Year's Eve excursion last year, I found myself in Dean & Deluca in Soho, New York looking for goodies. I'm a complete sucker for good package design, so this place is somewhat of a gold mine for me. After finding a 'bottle' of water in a milk container and an amazing Otomi runner, I came across these Mast Brothers chocolates while in line. Watch the video below by The Scout to learn more.

Men's Parkas: Sierra Designs

Previously only available in Japan, the made in the U.S. (Oakland, CA) Sierra Designs 60/40 Short Parka is true classic, and will soon be available stateside.

Founded in 1965 by George Marks and Bob Swanson in Point Richard, CA , Sierra Deisgns was founded by two people with a passion fueled by their love for the outdoors. The mission was simple, 'to specialize in the manufacturing of quality, lightweight equipment designed for the climber, backpacker, skier, or any sportsman who demands quality gear.' For Sierra Designs, this is a return to their roots, to where they began, and to how it all started.

Along with the 60/40 Short Parka, you can expect about 5 additional Sierra Designs heritage styles to be made available this coming Fall. For now, expect to see the 60/40 Short Parka this Fall at Hickorees, Context, Unionmade, Sid Mashburn and Steven Alan.

At Home With India Hicks

I need a beach. I live in a beach town, and it's not doing the trick. I need the heat, pink sands and a secluded little surf town stat. In the meantime, I can look through India Hick's Bahamas home that she's designed into a chic beach oasis. Whites, cottons, canvas, sun-bleached perfection. Someone get me to the Bahamas!

Artist Spotlight: Claire Loder

British artist Claire Loder creates these quirky ceramic heads. They're kind of strange, but endearing at the same time. I like their rosy cheeks! See more here.

Acrylic Utensils

Serving spoons, tart servers, and cheese knives look best in bright acrylic hues. Shop Lief, again, here.

Powder and Smoke Candles

Loving the packaging on these candles by Powder & Smoke. Shop Lief here.
