Style Guide: L.L. Bean Fall Must-Haves

Although this summer was definitely one for the books, I'm definitely ready for the fall season to start. If today's odd rain storm wasn't the first sign of it, I've already got my Simon & Garfunkel Spotify playlist in full swing, and have stored away my flip flops. To boot, the L.L. Bean Signature catalog came in the mail yesterday and got me so excited for cozy fisherman sweaters and boots! Shop some of my favorites on the links below.

Earth Naturals

They'll take you from January to July in skinny jeans or a sundress. Perfect for this crazy L.A. weather!

Four environmentally conscious bamboo handles marked with reminders to change your brush every three months. How cute!

From their boy's shop. Whether it's Brooks Brothers, GAP, or L.L. Bean, I seem to always find my preppy classics in the boy's section. Classic styles, in the right size.

L.L. Bean Signature Collection

L.L.Bean, Inc., the classic American label that was founded in 1912 and originally only sold the Maine Hunting Shoe, is now coming out with a Signature Collection in March 2010.

The company hired designer Alex Carleton, the founder of Rogues Gallery, as its creative director. In March, it will introduce the line including light-weight tailored linen blazers, buffalo plaid and madras shirts, nubby shawl-neck sweaters and a new version of the field coat for men. The women’s collection will feature a belted camp jacket, a denim line, madras shirtdresses, wrap skirts and new chino styles. Carleton will also create a new twist on L.L. Bean classics such as the Boat and Tote Bags. They released that the Signature Collection will not be priced much higher than the basic product line.
