Watch This: Moonrise Kingdom

I'm really looking forward to Wes Anderson's upcoming film, Moonrise Kingdom, due out on May 25, 2012. Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, it's the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together. With actors like Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman, it's got to be good! Watch it below, or click here.

Watch This: Eames, The Architect & The Painter

Today I took a field trip with my company to the Eames House in the Pacific Palisades, California. Nestled in the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean was the famous design couple's home and studio they built and designed in the 1940's. Not usually open to the public, we were given a private tour of the interior of the home!

It was pretty special to be able to see it, and perfect timing for the new Eames film that's coming out November 18. I can't wait to see this! Watch the trailer below, or here, and read more about the Eames House here.

Watch This: Murmuration

Wow! I've never seen anything quite like this. Two canoers were able to capture one of natures greatest and most fleeting phenomena. Kudos to the girl behind the camera, Liberty Smith, for such controlled camera work. Take a look below, or for my RSS feed viewers, watch it here.

Watch This: Hermes Holiday Windows

Okay, so this is back from the 2009 holiday season, but it's SO genius. Everyone knows Hermes for their beautiful scarves, so what better way to show them off than to have them blowing in the windows? Holiday windows are one of my favorite things about the Christmas season- Berdorf, Barneys, and Bloomies- just a walk down Madison Avenue could put any girl in the Christmas spirit (or in my case, a drive through Wilshire in Beverly Hills). Watch it and be inspired!

Watch This: Serge Gainsbourg, A Heroic Life

I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago and forgot to write about it. It was sooo good. It was definitely unconventional, but so interesting. It made me want to see more movies like it, and also made me realize that seeing those big budget, generic blockbusters is kind of like shopping at a Macy's. Go see this movie.
