Loving this fantastic video by the Parisian shoe brand, Repetto. A behind the scenes look into the depth and detail that went into this window installation. I love when retailers enrich consumer experiences, and this effort sets the bar quite high. Shop their lust-worthy styles here.

Object of Desire: Needlepoint

On a recent stroll on Montana Avenue here in Santa Monica, I stopped in the ever-so-fun Jonathan Adler store and found this fab needlepoint pillow. It's no surprise it's something that I would love- it's needlepoint and has the stitching of a blue and while striped shirt too similar to my favorite Saint James shirt that my mother gave me. When was the last time you did something for the first time? Or felt brave, and accomplished? I'd say moving to L.A. last July for a new job was the last time for me. I love masculine pieces on women, and the hunter green waxed-cotton Barbour jacket is no exception. This preppy classic comes in many styles- all equally fabulous. After a couple of years of eyeing them, I've finally decided on the style I need to have. Why can't I find anywhere in L.A. that sells them? In the meantime, I'll have to shop Barbour here.

The New Look of Zara

I've never been a big fan of Zara, but their current spring line is chock full of gems. Their clean lines are reminiscent of Calvin Klein Collection, Celine and Jil Sander. I'm guilty of owning more than a few of these pieces.

Fall 2011 Fashion: Sass and Bide

The combination of orange and pink has been a favorite of mine since Hermes' 2008 advertising campaign shot in India. Sass and Bide's fall 2011 line is reminiscent of this with their with richly concentrated brights- oranges, fuschias and yellows. Loving this trend.
